Installation
Android
Download the APK
On your phone with the button above, or from your PC via the QR code.
Allow installs from unknown sources
Open the downloaded file. The first time, Android asks whether your browser may install apps: tap “Settings”, turn on “Allow from this source” and go back. You can turn the permission off again after installing.
Install
Tap “Install”. Since the app doesn't come from the Play Store, Play Protect may ask; “More details” and “Install anyway” let you continue. Later updates install the same way.
Allow the VPN connection
The first time you connect, Android asks whether Mantel may set up a VPN connection. Confirm with “OK”. If you like, turn on “Always-on VPN” in Android's settings afterwards.
Log in with your account number
Enter your 16-digit account number or create a new account right in the app. The first 7 days are free.
Windows
The Windows guide comes with the Windows app.
Other devices
Mac, iPhone and Linux
There are no dedicated apps for these yet. You can still use Mantel: add a device in the dashboard, download its configuration or scan the QR code, and import it into the official WireGuard app.
